I absolutely love tipton lakes athletic club and come at least four times a week! The staff members are always very friendly and the gym is always very clean! I really enjoy the offered classes, specifically Zumba with Jana Bartels. Jenna Guse, one of the staff members at TLAC, is always very polite and friendly and always makes me smile when I walk in to the gym! Overall, I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to get into fitness, whether they are new to it or whether they are very experienced. There is something there for everyone!

TLAC is hands down best gym in the Columbus area. I started lifting here regularly about a month ago, and it has become my favorite part of my day. Everyone i’ve encountered has been so welcoming and friendly and everyone seems to know what they are doing. This is a high end gym with people who really care. I’ve never walked in or out of the gym without being greated and thanked and all the new upgrades are making it an even better place to spend my time.

Ok facility, a little dingy but ok. That said, the way they do business is underhanded and predatory. I left for three months on military service and asked to have my account suspended. They told me they don’t suspend accounts and would have to charge me a re-enrollment fee upon return. I told them to cancel me. What they didn’t tell me is in order to cancel I must submit the request in writing and they kept trying to charge me for services they never provided and then threatens me with collection if I did not pay. Very shady busbess practices.

I have been a member of TLAC for the last several years now thanks to the best Yoga classes they offer! Absolutely look forward to ending my busy work day with Savi's Yoga ! She is the best in town! She constantly innovates and keeps us engaged through the week! She goes an extra mile to take care of personal conditions and restrictions even though it's a group class! Love your classes Savi! The gym membership for just the fitness side of things is $50 per month, with a 1 year contract, $60 per month for a month to month. Although expensive, it would be ok if you get what you pay for. This gym was established in 1984, some of the equipment is from that year (see photos). For a gym that is the most expensive in town, I would expect better equipment. The plates look like they were bought at a garage sale. Also the gym has no air conditioning. They can do better.

Went in to check out the facility and inquire about a membership. The owner took us on a grand tour of the remodeled and upgraded facility. And even spent time in the golf simulator with us. They have remodeled and put a lot of work into making TLAC a great looking and inviting place. I look forward to playing on those fresh courts!
