I have had an amazing experience here at the arena club everyone is very nice and helpful. I even hired a personal trainer named Devon who helped me in so many ways. When I started with Devon I was a bit out of sharp and couldn’t do any push-ups or run very well but in the past year or so he has helped me so I can do 21 pushups in 40-45 seconds which has helped me get into the police department I have been trying to get into this year. He also has been helping with pull-ups and getting run faster as well! Thank you Devon!

i have had such an amazing experience at the arena club, and if anyone is considering joining i would highly recommend it! they have so many unique amenities that other places do not have, and they are always finding new ways to improve the experience for their members. their staff is always friendly and respectful, the facility, equipment, and pool are always clean, and their new pickle ball courts are so much fun. and for everyone leaving nasty 1 star reviews about their cancellation policy, take this as a valuable life lesson that you should probably read the whole contract before you sign it.

A+ Arena Club

As a former member of another gym that abruptly closed down, I commend The Arena Club for showing compassion and integrity to the many then-displaced members in our community. We were given very short notice that our club was closing, and The Arena Club quickly welcomed all of us new members with open arms. They went above and beyond by adding new equipment and additional group fitness/Pre-K classes. They even made space for an entire swim team!

Over the past 2 years, The Arena Club has provided us with the same high-quality, integrity-driven service we received from day 1. The staff is friendly & helpful; the facilities are clean & exceptionally maintained; we regularly receive club communication via text, email & social media… the list goes on.

Best of all is that Arena is a locally-owned and operated business. The owners have provided our community with a beautiful, family-friendly and extremely well-kept facility for over 20 years. In a world where big business has become the norm, it’s a welcome change to see & talk with the owners & know that they care. In my opinion that’s priceless!

September 2024 -- My brother-in-law WAS a member of this club but they cancelled his (and my sister's) membership, sent them a letter telling them to never come back. They won't have to worry about that! I called and got the story from my brother-in-law which is more than the managers of this club did. They should have called all of the parties together to get the full story, but instead they opted for the cowardly way, contacting him after he left the club and informing him that their membership was cancelled. He was actually having a private conversation with one of the employees of the club. They knew each other from when this guy worked at Bel Air Athletic Club, would often talk sports, politics, etc. No one was within ear shot but apparently the maintenance man walked past and overheard a political comment he apparently disagreed with. After walking away, he decided to come back and confront my brother-in-law who told him that he wasn't speaking to him and was eavesdropping. The maintenance guy then went to the manager's office, my brother-in-law finished his workout and left. Management SHOULD have called the three of them in to sort things out but instead cancelled their membership. My sister wasn't even in the gym at the time.

I used to have an issue with working out on my own. Like most people, I have physical issues/limitations that would either get in the way, or I would hurt/pull something and have to stop for a while. I had not maintained a consistent workout program for, well, decades. A little over four years ago, I started personal training with Wendy at the Arena Club. In that time, I can count on one hand the number of times I have had to pause my journey for those kind of things, which is frankly a miracle. I'm down over 40 pounds, stronger than I have been since college and my blood pressure and heart health are vastly improved. Wendy works with and around my limitations on a session by session basis and gets the most out of me without overdoing it. Its the ONLY reason I am at the place I am now and able to continue to get stronger and healthier without hurting myself. Thank you Wendy.

I was reluctant to join but now I appreciate the instructors and the machines. My workout have increased in frequency and intensity. Encouraging family and friends have made the workouts enjoyable.

I've been a member for years and have not had one issue with this club. It's always extremely clean and the staff cannot be any nicer and helpful. The owners have re-invested in the facility all these years and keep the atmosphere updated. The equipment is constantly being replaced and is state-of-the-art. If you are looking to improve your fitness and health, this is the place to do it.

I wanted to take the time and write about one of your trainers, Tim Cain.

You see, I joined the Arena Club about 6 months ago after being totally bored at a place call PF which I had attending for a number of years.

I have always been a fitness nut and have lifted weights, taken martial arts, done long distance running, played competitive golf through college, and generally worked out for over 50 years!! Yes, I'm as old as dirt, BUT since joining The Arena Club and working with Tim Cain 2x per week for approximately 4 months I have developed the strength and stamina needed to stay fit and exceed my personal goals.

Tim always pushes me and challenges "my old muscles" to a level most people my age would collapse, but I enjoy it. Please understand he is always conscious of any pain or discomfort and makes sure I am performing the exercise correctly. Never have I walked away with any pulled muscles or joint pain...only exhaustion.

Thank you Tim and I look forward to continuing the sessions of "Gain without Pain".
