I have been training at this gym for 6 months now and it’s awesome. The retro and friendly atmosphere combined with a very well equipped weights area is everything you look for in gym. The staff and owner are all really friendly which makes coming down to the gym a highlight of my day!
I high recommend this gym to anyone of any experience level?

Hmmmm I dunno about classes but just dealing the gym, after doing extensive research and trials at nearby gyms, they definitely need to update the requirement AT THE LEAST.

I am all got the nostalgia of the location and the warehouse style gym, that is great. But for a gym which is basically charging the same rates as competitor gyms, and let’s be honest it is a very competitive market; the equipment needs a serious update. I feel like the machines are from the 80s and before the time machines and equipment were designed for ergonomics and support of the body.

Weight machines are limited and they don’t even have the basics that terribly equipped gyms even have. I mean they don’t even have short arm curl bars. You have to basically use bars as long as squat bars..

This gym definitely needs to update its equipment and it would become a competitive gym in terms of equipment. They need to fix the bubbling floors around a few of the machines also. Tripping hazard.

Awesome facility with a heap of space. They have a relaxed style of on boarding that isn't the classic aggressive sales tactics. No lock in contracts and super decent weekly membership (not posted in case it changes).

They have a heap of classes that you don't need to book into and the vibe is friendly.

Not very crowded either and everyone who goes tends to be friendly. All types train here.

Great local gym, good atmosphere and classes. Basic equipment and busy at the normal peak hours like other gyms.

The best gym I’ve been a member of, by far. The facilities are great, there is heaps of room/ always equipment available and the staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s a great local gym

Special review for Craig: I am an old lady and I had a fall in a shop in Balmain on Saturday. I banged my head hard and Craig helped look after me, made sure I had a place to sit and then drove my mate home to get our car to come back and pick me up. He and his little son, Aidan, were just lovely and could not have done more. Very big thanks from Jan.

Poor customer services skills.
They offer a free 7 day trial online if you live in the area.
The guy at the front was being that rude he was just trying to sell me a membership. He was super pushy, without even listening to me.
They have another offer where you get a free 1 day pass if you aren’t in the area but he made me pay a $25 casual visit.
Go look on their website and check.
I feel like he was discriminating against me and he made me feel unwelcome.
I have never had such an awful experience at the gym and I’ve been training for 12 years.
I really think they need to reconsider who is at the front desk.
I’m more than happy to pay but when you false advertise and make people feel like they don’t belong and try to just treat them like a number then that’s when I draw the line.
Very disappointed, upset, hurt and embarrassed.
By far worst atmosphere and vibe.

Quality gym with full equipments to workout. Very very friendly stuff ever and good environment in the gym. I haven’t seen any greedy people in this gym. No need to rush to workout because someone will steal your machine.
