I bought a pair of shoes at the Chadstone store and initially had a wonderful experience.
Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with the shoes, and the store was temporarily closed.
With no other choice, I went to the Collins St store and had a conversation with one of staff member who was happy to help to resolved an issue. When i called the store for the update I had a very disappointing experience , where I was treated with rudeness by one of the staff member.
During our interaction by phone, Santiago keep asking, "Do you want me to help you or not?" in an extremely unprofessional manner.
When I tried to voice my concerns, he responded, "This is how I speak," in a condescending tone.
Rather than offering support or understanding, the conversation unnecessarily escalated, leaving me feeling disrespected.
I have never been treated this way by a customer service representative, and this experience has left a negative impression on your brand.
I sincerely hope that Christian Louboutin takes this issue seriously and provides further training to staff to ensure every customer is treated with respect and professionalism.

This review exposes the brand’s arrogant belief that its name is enough. The inept customer service response and “too cool for school” attitude is the “turn off” of the century.
I ventured in to the Melbourne CBD for the sole purpose of purchasing either a bucket bag or a backpack from the Christian Louboutin store in Collins Street.
The store was surprisingly dowdy and looked like something from out of Nanna’s sewing pattern manual. The stock or items on the shelves were sparse and absolutely NOTHING lured. Not one item looked interesting, cool, cute, beautiful, fun, lush, stylish, fashionable, attractive or credibly Louboutin.
I persisted however, with my mission to make a purchase. I would be travelling overseas soon and the new bag was on my essential list.
There were 2 young women staffing this tiny store and they were happy to see me walk in and they'd have something to do. It turns out, there were no bucket bags in stock but they stocked the backpack, which was on display. The price was about $2780 which I confirmed with both staff members. I requested the same backpack, one not on the shelf and still in its packaging. The staff member disappeared to the storeroom to retrieve a packaged backpack.
When she returned, I was handed the box and the card machine in order to tap my card for payment. I had already seen the shelf backpack’s price but I glanced at the numbers, something I might not, normally do. The figure she had entered was, $3,400; an increase of $600.
I asked why she had done this without informing me? She feigned surprise and then mumbled something about this year’s price. The shelf bag had last year’s price on it. Note: It was August 2024 and no one had bothered to update stock prices on the shelves.
Both staff members were behaving awkwardly and eye contact ceased. Clearly I was not expected to notice the price increase. It would have been an easy sell and I would not have noticed this for an extended period having already discussed the price with them, pre-purchase. One of the women stated she would hold the bag in case I decided I’d still like to buy it. No mention of the $600 price difference and clearly an expectation that I should be unconcerned with that recent encounter.
I left the store, disappointed and annoyed. After at least 4 days of attempted calls and research I managed to locate some sort of Australian, Louboutin Head Office with only a private number and spoke to someone with no title and who would only proffer her first name. The response I received from her was very laissez faire. In summary, Christian Louboutin have no customer service line and there is no avenue for a customer to bring the brand’s attention, to the complete lack of, professionalism, due diligence, training, aesthetics and customer care.
This is a very shortened version of my experience with Head Office, the Melbourne stores and the Sydney stores, there is more but the brand could care less. I now view the brand with contempt and pity anyone with the delusion of its fake glamour.
The head office woman also, informed me there was no link to write a review, funny that?

I went in today entirely unprepared to make any decisions or commitments. I was just idea-hunting for shoes for an event. This was my first experience with a luxury shoe store. The ladies in the store were completely non-threatening, and gave some lovely insights into sizing and the nature of various materials. I had a wonderful time, got some great suggestions and ideas, and never felt pressured. It was peaceful, private, and relaxed. I even got some helpful tips on how to optimize my chances of finding shoes that are limited editions or available overseas only. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!
