I visited Delray Beach Golf Course this morning and had an incredibly disappointing experience that I feel obligated to share. I arrived with my toddler, who was quiet and well-behaved the entire time. However, as soon as I got out of the car, a "guest" started yelling profanities as he drove by in a golf cart. Initially, I laughed it off, thinking he was just upset about a canceled tee time. I've seen this man frequently, and he's always loud on the range, reacting audibly to his shots. His behavior had never bothered me enough to say anything.

But as soon as I grabbed my basket of balls and pushed my stroller toward the driving range, he started yelling profanities specifically involving the word "baby." I decided to move to the other end of the range to avoid any confrontation. As a veteran who has lost six friends, my visit this morning and also yesterday and the day before was very personal time to me. Memorial Day is a weekend where I truly like to reflect so I wasn't aiming to cause issues at all. I only wanted a peaceful morning with my son.

Shortly after, another individual arrived at the range. I asked if my presence with a toddler bothered him and explained the situation with the aggressive man. He informed me that the loud individual was actually an employee of the golf course, which explained his frequent presence.

This behavior was unprovoked and utterly unprofessional. I understand there may be concerns about children at the driving range, but there are respectful and courteous ways to communicate such policies. Instead, I was met with hostility and disrespect that left me shocked and upset.

This incident not only ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable outing with my son but also left me questioning whether I would ever return to Delray Beach Golf Course. It's disheartening, as I have been coming here 2-3 times a week for the past two years. I also have a range key membership, which I handed in at the pro shop, stating to keep the remaining funds as I am never coming again. It was an absolutely terrible experience after years of patronage.

I urge the management to address this issue seriously and take appropriate action to ensure that no other patron has to endure such a distressing experience. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this course to anyone looking for a family-friendly and respectful environment. Instead, I suggest visiting Osprey Golf Course, a public golf course that has no issues with kids.

The staff isn't friendly at All!!! The Rangers don't do there job!! We were on pace with the group I front if us and not one, not two, but three diffent people cut in front of us. When we told the Ranger they acted like we were the bad guys . IT was beyound rediculous.. The course needs lots of help!! All the greens have fungus and issues. You can't even putt on them!! Don't waste your money hear!!!

Delray Beach Golf Club is a photographer's delight. The picturesque landscapes and well-maintained grounds make for stunning wedding photos. The staff was professional and attentive, making my job effortless. Highly recommended for capturing timeless wedding memories.

Worst greens you will ever play in your life. It is actually an accomplishment by management to have greens as bad as they do. It is like putting on a carpet with holes multi feet long holes in the carpet with wood below. It is seriously either grass up to your toes or hard surface with no grass growing. These aren't borderline unplayable, they are unplayable. Unless you are a high handicapper looking to get swings in and putting is irrelevant do not play. The fairways and rough is basically just all crab grass. A disgrace to a great Donald Ross designed track and incredibly disappointing when Delray desperately needs a single playable municipal course.

The course had a very nice layout and the staff was great and course very well run. Fairways in pretty good shape. But the greens are awful, with very poor maintenance. No grass on some areas of the greens or rough patches that affect the roll of the ball. Will only play with a deal price.
