Avoid this place if you want to preserve your sanity (and credit score). I signed up for membership but soon got a new job out-of-state. I made 0 visit to the gym, but they still asked me to pay a hefty cancellation fee (over $100).

When you sign up for membership, they ask for your personal ID (which is strange). They will forward any unpaid fees to debt collection agency, as it happened to me (please see attached photo), which will seriously impact your credit score.

I've exchanged multiple emails with the management but they are 100% determined to extract the cancellation fee out of me.

I had been a member of this gym for over a year. I purchased a 4 sessions fitness training package. Can you believe that in that entire year I never received 1 session? I went to the gym several times to speak with the gm and then the pt manager. I was told I would get a call back to fix the issue since every trainer kept bailing on me and never did. I was promised to get those sessions and never received a text from a trainer or manager. I would highly recommend avoiding this gym at all cost. They scammed me for my money and never delivered the service I paid for. If something similar occurs I would recommend getting an attorney involved.

Based off my experience with Rich: I initially did not like this gym. I attempted to cancel. I voiced my issues to Rich and left it at that. I began to check out Iron Culture and the surrounding gyms. On my visit to IC I was impressed by the appearance then within 5 min I had multiple bad interactions with their staff and their prices were outrageous.

So I followed back up with Rich with my opinion. No crap, with in a few months everything voiced I began to see. He spent upward $30k + on renovations and new equipment. Not the nonsense equipment. He has Arsenal coming soon.

I feel valued. Voice was heard. Kids care starts earlier so I can make there before the rush. New equipment for better lifts. I give credit to Rich because he is turning this gym around by hearing what his customers have to say. Congrats to man. You have me locked in now. Keep up the hard work.

It is horrible how little humanity and treatment they give in a medical emergency, the charges and overcharges are made without caring. I have been here for 6 years and the treatment is truly inhumane. I pay and the facilities are dirty, without paper, towels to clean the machines, the floors are full of hair and they do not fix that. But they do charge me up to $10, the answer is cancel your membership. I WOULD LOVE THE OWNER TO SEE THE KIND OF EMPLOYEES HE HAS.

Update: Had an extremely poor experience with the new fitness management team. This gym charges $560 per month for 8 sessions of personal training. I signed up for 6 months, they fired my personal trainer with only 5 sessions remaining because "trainers aren't permitted 2 week notices per gym policy". Unheard of. Iron Culture and Club Studio are brand new gyms in this area with upgraded amenities, beautiful space, and upgraded equipment. One wants to work out behind blue walls and you can see the obviously shift in gym goers. Avoid at all costs.

Great local gym with clean facilities, upgraded equipment, and helpful staff on site. They have spin, yoga, and Zumba classes that you can take during the week. Also a variety of trainers that can help you with a personalize training plan. On-site childcare facility. Staff pays extra attention to not leaving children unattended and keeping them entertained, great plus for parents. Motivating, friendly, workout community.
