I joined Live Fit shortly after moving to SF in the summer of 2022. It has been one of the best parts of my SF life and feels like a second home in a way --- the employees greet me, by name, and genuinely care about me and my fitness experience. The gym itself is always clean, organized, and never too crowded. I can always do the workout I planned and often spend time post-workout in the stretch room to decompress.

Briana and Bailey are so friendly and attentive, always enthusiastic about helping me, whether it is recommending massage therapists, or getting my guests signed in. I have been taking Mat Pilates classes with Chanel for over a year and enjoy it every time. She is such a confident and calming instructor who leads a challenging but relaxing class.

As a former college athlete, I have been a part of many gyms and can confidently say this has been the best experience. The facility is amazing and the people are even better.

This place is so stingy with the air conditioning! The thermostat constantly reads 80° and in an effort to hide that number they put this tacky black piece of paper covering up the thermostat so people don’t realize exactly how warm it is it here. They put a few dehumidifiers in spots to lower the humidity but it’s still way too hot in here! Why are we paying $130 a month for this?

Am starting to get very tired with this gym, especially the trainers that think they have priority over the machines (point it to me in the rules, please). Yet another aggressive behavior from a trainer. I was looking to workout both biceps and when heading to one of the cable pairs, he told me me ''I'm using this'' (he was using several apparels at the same time so hard to guess) and when I pointed to the exact same one on the other side, he went like ''am using this one, you'll have to wait, I have priority''

Best gym; always clean, outstanding staff, and great equipment! Chiropractic services, nutrition, and personal training are also offered; Sandra, one of the trainers, has been instrumental in my healing from lower back anomalies, double hip trauma and hip surgery. I highly recommend.

They kept charging my card for months after cancelling my membership. Made it impossible to cancel my membership. I was gaslit about the date that I called LiveFit to cancel (each time I called to ask why my cancellation hadn't yet been processed, they claimed this was the first they were hearing about me wanting to cancel). The associate from LiveFit demanded that I download my AT&T cell records, and email them to LiveFit, to prove that I had previously tried contacting LiveFit about cancellation.

I actually spent about an hour on the phone with AT&T getting the dates of my multiple calls, relayed this to LiveFit, and then the LiveFit associate said this wasn't sufficient--they literally needed me to send them a PDF file with my full call records.

UPDATE: If you call your CC company and do a chargeback, LiveFit actually has a system in place where their billing software will automatically re-charge the disputed charges. You need to literally have your CC company block all charges from them.

Love this gym, my favorite in San francisco, Bailey and Brianna are some of the most KIND people I’ve ever met! So nice to see their smiling faces every time I go to the gym! The gym is also so well kept, very clean, and more spacious than a lot of gyms in the city. I never feel it is too crowded or busy. the equipment is great and it is never ever malfunctioning which I appreciate. Overall would absolutely recommend.

Highlights:
- Have done 30 sessions of personal Trainer and Sandra is an amazing coach
- The equipment are in good shape
- Air is fresh and bathrooms are clean

Lowlights:
The group fitness and yoga classes are not very good.
