Here’s a reAs a big Kundalini yoga lover, I was thrilled to visit the RA MA Yoga Institute in Mallorca, and it did not disappoint. Whether you’re a beginner or have been practicing for a while, give yourself the gift of practicing in this space. It’s a wonderful sanctuary to connect with your body and soul.

The studio is impeccably clean, they offer exquisite products, and the teachers are incredibly friendly. The kriyas are potent and deeply transformative. Located in a beautiful area surrounded by cozy cafés and a lovely walking path, it’s close enough to the center yet offers a peaceful escape. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a powerful yoga experience.

This yoga studio is connected with RA MA in New York and LA, founded by the same small group of teachers. I practiced at the various locations for many years. Kundalini yoga is a wonderful, transformative practice - however, the guru who brought this practice to the U.S., Yogi Bhajan, has been accused by dozens of his former students of quite extreme abuse, that was confirmed through an investigation by an independent organization - the report can be read online. Instead of standing by the victims, the core group of RA MA Yoga founders called them liars - going so far as to make a "documentary" stating this, that can also be found online. There are other kundalini teachers and studios who believe the victims' stories, and are appalled by the actions of Yogi Bhajan, while still continuing to teach kundalini yoga and stand behind its efficacy - to me, this is an example of integrity and living by yogic ethics. It's so unfortunate that in the RA MA Yoga studios, there are still portraits of Yogi Bhajan hanging on the wall as a reminder of their allegiance to this abusive teacher, and their choice to double-down on victim-blaming the innocents who he harmed. Even if you have to learn kundalini online, it's better to learn from a teacher who acknowledges uncomfortable truths and stands in integrity.

The studio is clean and the teachers are friendly, however you will not get their help if you need, even specifically asked.

Another perspective is that this is not a place for experience Kundalini yoga for the first time. You will not be asked if you are a first timer or not, any injuries etc. as the more main stream yoga practice would usually do. There is no real explanations about the yoga, chanting or breath work.
I found it really hard to follow along, even I have 15 years of practice experience in different kind of yoga.
Studio opening time and course time also days about 10 min, but not sure if its the culture or the studio

Tolle Klang-Massage von Anna und Andy. Das Studio ist schön und sauber und hat eine tolle Willkommenskultur. Lediglich im Winter kann man dicke Socken dabei haben. Wir kommen wieder wenn wir nach Mallorca fahren. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️👍
