Julie and the team have created a remarkable experience for the mind and body and I would happily recommend the retreat to anyone wanting to detox/de stress/ improve their health/ focus on themselves/ lose weight and generally feel better. The location is superb, ideally located for coastal walks and beach fitness sessions. The experience is inclusive for a range of ages and fitness levels, Lou the fitness instructor and Lily the yoga instructor are assets to the team. Everyone on my retreat came as solo travellers but I can see how groups and couples would equally enjoy the experience. I can’t rate the food highly enough - thank you Chef Jason for catering for a fussy vegan! There was a huge variety of treatments to choose from and the therapists were skilled, empathetic and caring. Out of my group of 11 people 3 people were ‘returners’ and I can see why the return rate is so high!

The Ultimate Retreat Company lives up to its name - it really is the best in every way! The Luxury Boutique retreat location is beautiful; it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.

I arrived from London feeling so stressed and exhausted I wasn’t sure I’d be able to participate fully in the exercise programme. However, after an amazing Reiki treatment with Michelle, I felt transformed and ready to tackle anything. Louise’s morning walks were a particular highlight for me and her fitness classes were excellent – so varied, and it didn’t matter that I was a beginner. She helped and encouraged all of us to do the best we could, whatever our fitness level and experience.

Jason delighted us every day with his yummy breakfasts, healthy salads, soups and suppers. I never once felt hungry. Every meal was delicious. Being nurtured by Julie and her team has left me feeling truly relaxed in a way I never have before. Nothing was too much trouble. Michelle deserves another mention – I cannot put into words how amazing her Reiki treatment was – I had two sessions and both were incredible. My Kinesiology treatment with her was transformative too. Lily’s yoga was the perfect way to end each day.

On my return, my friends commented on my glowing skin and even my nails were noticeably healthier. I’ve had renewed energy to tackle previously insurmountable tasks head-on and I’m definitely walking with a spring in my step. Even though I had stresses to face on my return, I feel better equipped to deal with them. The inner sense of calm remains – I still feel nurtured at a deeper level.

I cannot recommend the Ultimate Retreat Company highly enough. It is restorative and transformative for mind, body and soul. It certainly exceeded my expectations and I have already booked again for next year.

Great experience, great team. I cannot recommend this retreat enough. It’s hard work but great fun. The free-from-all meals created by chef genius Jason make the stay even more enjoyable. Louise coaxes the best out of her class and enables participation at all fitness levels. Lily provides the (strenuous) chill factor. Plenty of pampering options add to the overall enjoyment factor. Was there this year for the 2nd time and will definitely be returning.

My intentions at the start of the retreat were to try to give my head and my heart some direction, and I believe that is what I achieved on this luxurious retreat. The structure of each day was a challenge but also a bit of fun. The people I shared the adventure with,I felt like they were handpicked especially for me as they were a pleasure to be around. All in all, it is a beautiful place, action-packed, and totally relaxing, which sounds like a contradiction, but that's the kind of retreat this is. I hope to return some day.

I love this place. It’s my oasis of calm where my shoulders drop down several inches and the fact I’ve been more times than I can count is a testament to the quality of the retreat. The walks, the classes by the beach and the yoga are all fabulous and despite thinking I’d ache, the food kept me well nourished and ready for the next day. Not to mention the fact that the food is incredible. I’d have chef Jason in my house if I could! To top it all off there is a huge range of treatments to pick from to make sure you go home feeling your absolute best. Thank you Julie and your team for always delivering an exceptional experience.

I’m not a gym bunny or particularly fit but, I absolutely love this place. Been about 4 times over the last 3 years and plan to go back again for the second time this year in June. Julie makes everything so easy to book and is the font of all knowledge health wise, while Louise puts you through Pilates and the exercise classes at the beach at your own pace and encourages you to do your best. The food is amazing, every time I’ve been everyone wants to take chef Jason home with them. Busy mornings and chilled afternoons either in the spa or by the pool. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the ultimate retreat.

I wasn't sure what to expect as a solo traveller but I had nothing to worry about. Everyone was really friendly, fitness classes were amazing and the food was out of this world, we were fine dining every day and it was all super healthy! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Ultimate Retreat, my second this year. The staff are all amazing and the apartments are lovely, situated not far from the beach. I met some lovely people and came away feeling really motivated to continue my fitness journey.
